BOIL WATER NOTICE

Due to a recent water line issue that caused a loss of pressure in the system, the Mississippi State Department of Health requires Oktoc Water Association to issue a Boil Water Notice for the following areas:

  • Mt. Olive Rd.

  • Oktoc Rd. (locations that are SOUTH of Mt. Olive Rd. through to the Refuge)

  • Ironwood Subdivision

  • Browning Creek

  • Robinson Rd. 

Customers in these areas are advised to bring all water to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute before consuming. This includes water used for:

  • Drinking

  • Cooking

  • Brushing teeth

  • Making ice

  • Washing food

This Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, at which time it will be lifted, provided bacteriological testing results are satisfactory and approved by the Mississippi State Department of Health.
